Insurance Coverage for Diagnostic Hearing Evaluations:
We are contracted with most major insurance companies, including Medicare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, HealthNet, and Cigna. Medicare will cover one hearing evaluation every 12 months as long as there is medical necessity and a physician has ordered the test. Most insurance plans have some type of coverage for hearing testing. We would be happy to investigate what insurance coverage you may have on your particular plan.
We are not contracted with any AHCCCS (Medicaid) plans at this time.
Keep in mind most “free hearing test” offers are screenings only and not a full diagnostic evaluation.
Insurance Coverage for Hearing Aids:
As a general rule, most insurance plans have no coverage for hearing aids. This includes Medicare. However, there are some plans that do have funded benefits for hearing aids. Many of our insurance contracts also include a substantial discount on the cost of hearing aids regardless of whether there is a funded benefit or not. As always, we would be happy to investigate what coverage or discounts may be available on your insurance plan.
Payment Plans:
We accept all major forms of credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) as well as Care Credit. Care Credit offers a 12 month no interest payment plan on hearing aids. We also offer an in-house no interest payment plan under certain circumstances.
